ABOUT OUR BUSINESS

About: About

The arrival of a compulsory purchase order is one of the most stressful events a family is likely to experience in its lifetime. For the majority of those affected no amount of compensation will make up for the disturbance and upset it causes. Fear of the unknown and the lack of information on how the process works, adds to the concerns of those affected.

Farm Business Advisers Ltd. was established in 1973 by Richard Collins.  Based in the North Cork town of Fermoy, F.B.A. Consultants has been intensively involved in all types of negotiations relating to compensation, primarily for landowners affected by major road schemes throughout the country, but also on behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Public Authorities, Bord Gais, the E.S.B. and others.  Since its foundation Farm Business Advisers Ltd. has acted as Agents for C.P.O. land acquisition on behalf of Claimants and represented landowners on several independent Assessments and Arbitrations.

FBA Consultants is the longest established firm of Valuer/Agronomists in the country acting on behalf of affected property owners. Our experience and knowledge of the CPO process is unrivalled and is borne out by our reputation nationwide.
